Bronze beach 24th December

What a great Christmas Eve session we had yesterday at Bronze.

Wind started early but was still a bit gusty and although gusting to 25 the lulls were quite deep so we rigged 5s initially and sailed from about 8.30.

The sea was pretty flat considering the wind strength and stayed manageable all day. Sadly this meant not much wave to ride or jump but there were still a couple of forwards by Justin and Reuben and some big jumps.

Wave riding was limited but there were some good backside cutbacks and a couple of frontside turns.

After about an hour the wind filled in and most went down to 4.5s.

What a great turnout - about 10 sailors on the water at one time - a great spectacle.

Have a great Christmas everyone and come back from holidays refreshed for an epic 2017.
