Midmar Fri 16th

Had a lekker burn at Midmar last Friday.
The NW was humming and we measured a gust at 41 knots at the beginning. Were on 4.5s all day.
Murray, Cliff, Nathan, Angus and James sailed. We sailed from the ski area between Duku Duku and hoby point. It worked pretty well with the wind cross-shore from the right. Fairly gusty as always in the NW but very sailable and some nice chop with occasionally decent ramps for jumping.
Angus started on his isonic a bit further downwind where it may have been a bit more consistent but not quite as strong. I think with slalom kit sailing further downwind can work but with wave kit you want the strength as it funnels through this section so it was a good spot.
See a few pics in the gallery.
