Hey, I'm following, with amusement, this thread on windsurfafrica-

I haven't bothered to get involved because the CT okes are handling it with decorum and quite impressively, I think.

But it does remind us that while we are unfortunate in terms of our wind conditions, we are very fortunate that we have so much space to ourselves up here on the E. Coast and also that, at least at Baggies/ Toti, we have a very good relationship with the other beach users.

I've experienced nothing but mutual respect between the kiters and windsurfers at Baggies. Obviously this is greatly assisted by the fact that there is enough space for all but I think it is also attributable to a good bunch with a good attitude. Thanks all involved. Long may it last and I think it is something we can all be proud of.

Thanks Jamo, that was a very interesting and FUNNY to read. I think Gman is a complete idiot. The replies to his posts by the local CPT windsurfers were brilliant. I'm sad the posts have come to an end...

I agree, we can be greatful that we have a good relationship with the Kiters in KZN.
